Kevin Cheng and Niki Chow were supporting actors in the TVB series Hard Fate. Although the main focus of the drama wasn't on them, their instant chemistry had viewers fawning over them. Soon after, the pair were seen again in the series Under the Canopy of Love, where they had leading roles. In the series, they had similar roles to their characters in Hard Fate.
